Aussies can vote for their favourite pool design in The Poolz Awards. This beauty is a fibreglass lap pool by Shipping Container Pools, at a beachside home on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula.

A Queensland home's pool needs to be seen to be believed.

Located in the Sunshine Coast suburb of Coolum Beach, the property has a floating shipping container pool where you can even park your car underneath.

The design is one of many nominated in this year's The Poolz Awards. A panel of industry experts will judge 20 main pool categories including Most Insta-worthy and Best Glass Window Pool alongside categories for the People's Choice Awards.

Poolz, an online pool marketplace, will announce the winners on the first day of summer.

A six-metre, rectangular shipping container appears as if it is hovering, positioned on top of a metal frame high above the ground.

The light grey design by Shipping Container Pools has a fibreglass interior and side-mounted glass for security.

Floating honed concrete steps lead to the show-stopping pool with its sun deck and cantilevered walls.
