Extreme lengths to sell Brisbane home with graffiti and countless holes in the walls.

An agent has gone above and beyond to attract interest in a Brisbane fixer-upper.

In a campaign video, Cory Boyd of Ray White Marsden transforms into Johnny Depp's character Captain Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean films, to turn buyers' heads towards 16 Forestglen Crescent in Browns Plains.

Although the three-bedroom abode is a sight for sore eyes with graffiti and countless holes in the walls, Boyd suggests it could be knocked down and become the site of a dream home.

The home is going to auction on November 25 at 2pm. There is no price guide as Queensland law prohibits agents from setting price guides for homes going to auction.

It's not just the interiors that need work with the exterior revealing a humble brick façade with overgrown weeds.

The floorplan allows for three bedrooms and one bathroom with an open-plan living and dining zone.

Dressed as Sparrow in boots, trousers, vest, red sash and pirate's hat, Boyd suggests the home could either be demolished and rebuilt with a grand vision in place or renovated with some serious TLC.

The listing for 16 Forestglen Crescentalso states that the property is "uninhabitable" and it's clear to see why with holes in the walls that reveal exposed brick and scaffolding and graffiti here and there.

There are also chipped tiles in the bathroom, exposed electrical cords, chipped plasterboard and scuffed floorboards.

However, the property is situated on an 800-square-metre block and there is a large shed at the rear. Records show the property last sold for an undisclosed sum in February 1981.

Browns Plains is in the City of Logan, 22km south of central Brisbane. Domain's House Price Report for the September 2023 quarter reveals the median house price is $538,000.

Boyd holds the listing alongside Keron Petzer of Ray White Marsden.
